She was born on May 5, 1930 in Gassaway, WV and has lived in Wakeman for the last 43 years. She had worked at the former Harshmans Market in Wakeman. Betty Ramsey, 88, of Wakeman, passed away on Friday September 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 5, 1930 in Gassaway, WV and has lived in Wakeman for the last 43 years. She had worked at the former Harshmans Market in Wakeman. She loved hummingbirds, bluegrass music, flowers, playing cards and yahtzee, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Henry) Bostater, of Wakeman, son-in-law John Sopko, of Collins, grandchildren Leslie (David) Atkinson, of Kearneysville, WV, great-grandson Britton Atkinson, of Kearneysville, WV, siblings Harold (Jackie) Greenleaf, of Gassaway, WV, Carol Frame, of Atwater, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Arlen "Bud" Ramsey, her parents Everett and Grace (Stump) Greenleaf, daughter Sharon Sopko, and siblings, Myrlene Keener, Cleo Frame, Roy, Darrell, Jimmy, and Jerlene Greenleaf. Friends may call on Monday, September 24, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, at 11:00 am.
