Marie (nee Buck) Schrader-Leimbach, 88, of Wakeman, passed away on September 16, 2017 at her daughters home. She was born on October 4, 1928, in Elyria,to the late Albert and Marie (Stark) Buck. She was valedictorian of her class in 1946 at Wakeman High School. The same year she married Leroy Schrader, and they shared a wonderful life together until his death in 2005. Marie (nee Buck) Schrader-Leimbach, 88, of Wakeman, passed away on September 16, 2017 at her daughters home. She was born on October 4, 1928, in Elyria,to the late Albert and Marie (Stark) Buck. She was valedictorian of her class in 1946 at Wakeman High School. The same year she married Leroy Schrader, and they shared a wonderful life together until his death in 2005. She worked at the former Third Federal Bank in Oberlin, Kipton Bank, and the Town Shop in Oberlin. She was a member of the Clarksfield United Methodist Church. In 2014 she married Russell Leimbach, who survives her. She loved crochet, quilting, painting, and collecting angels. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Jerry (Kerry) Schrader, of Franklin, TN, Thomas (Gwendolyn) Schrader, of Lagrange, Sandy (Mark) Fields, of Crawfordsville, IN, Debra (David) Noftz, of Attica, step-children, Richard (Linda) Leimbach, of Sheffield Lake, Bruce (Dana) Leimbach, of New London, Susan (Robin) Webber, of Sun City, CA, a brother David (Susan) Buck, of San Diego, CA, Edward (Delores) Buck, of La Vergne, TN, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, son-in-law Woody Puder, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by her brother Albert Buck Jr., a daughter, Kathleen Puder. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Pastor David Clark will be officiating. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Messages of condolence may be left at mormanfuneralhome.com
