Dianne L Scholl, 76, of Birmingham, passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin. She was born on March 24, 1939 in Lorain and graduated from Amherst High School. She has lived in Birmingham since 1958. She was a homemaker who was a 50 year member of the Stone City Order of Eastern Star in Amherst and served as Worthy Matron. Dianne L Scholl, 76, of Birmingham, passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin. She was born on March 24, 1939 in Lorain and graduated from Amherst High School. She has lived in Birmingham since 1958. She was a homemaker who was a 50 year member of the Stone City Order of Eastern Star in Amherst and served as Worthy Matron. She was very active in her children's activities, serving as Firelands Band Booster President. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Frank, her sons Mark (Judy) Scholl, of Fletcher, OK, Scott (Heidi), of Wellington, Kurt Scholl, of Vermilion, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a special friend Lonnie Shaffer, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Geraldine (Knapp) Olson, a son Drew, and sisters Gloria Molnar, and Honey Lou Harris. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Birmingham Cemetery. The family wishes to express a huge thank you to the staff of Welcome Nursing Home and Barb Cooksey for their compassionate care and help given.
