Gina and I worked together for several months at Pegasus trailers. One of the sweetest and intelligent people I have had the pleasure of knowing, I was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family and especially her children and grandchildren she loved so much.

Our daughter Melissa was fortunate to have Gina Alltmont as her 1st grade teacher. I was one of the homeroom mothers that year and it was a special year for the children and the parents. She had a gift for bringing out the best in children. Our friendship lasted for 38 years. We will miss you, Gina !

She was hands down the best teacher I ever had and one of the most interesting people I ever met. As a 3rd grader who felt like he wasn't worth much, she reached down and told me that she saw potential in me. She introduced me to a wide variety of knowledge like French language and other topics. Most importantly : she called me "gifted". It was that tiny spark that I hung onto throughout life when I felt worthless. I have a beautiful happy life and she is on the short list of those that built that. I love you Mrs Alltmont and can't thank you enough!

She and her husband had a great impact on my life and I am humbled to have great teachers like them. She is what teachers should be and can rest with the knowledge that she molded people to be the best they can be. Rest in peace, well done. Until we meet again in that glorious place.
