He was born on Feb. 12, 1937 in Ecleto, TX, and has lived in the Collins and Berlin Heights area for close to 20 years. He served in the National Guard, and retired from Lorain Ford in 1995. He was born on Feb. 12, 1937 in Ecleto, TX, and has lived in the Collins and Berlin Heights area for close to 20 years. He served in the National Guard, and retired from Lorain Ford in 1995. He was a member of St. Marys Church in Wakeman. He enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Alice (Riley), his children, Gregorio (Sandi) Muniz, of Collins, Magdalena "Manana" (Josh) Fribley, of Columbus, Cointa "Connie" (Christopher) Liberati, of Strongsville, Cecilia "Chicky" (Ron) Harrison, of Collins, Norma "Nicky" (Kenneth) Phillips, of Vermilion, Nickolas (Angie) Kotsopoulos, of Sandusky, 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, siblings, Mike (Lucy) Muniz, of McAllen, TX, Soila (Gilbert) Sanchez, of McAllen, TX, and Cointa (Rudy) Ramirez, of McAllen, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Prudencio and Eliza (Portalez) Muniz, his first wife Angelita (Ortega), and grandson Kyle Muniz, siblings Juanita, Narciso, Rosita, and Erlinda. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. There will be a Rosary Service at 8:00 pm. On Wednesday there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Mary's Church on Main Street in Wakeman. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
