Lloyd Lane, 85, of New London, passed away on September 23, 2018 at St. John Westshore. He was born on May 5, 1933 in Washington, OH and has lived in the area hi entire life. He was a 1951 graduate of Wakeman High School. He served in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He was a lifelong truck driver. Lloyd Lane, 85, of New London, passed away on September 23, 2018 at St. John Westshore. He was born on May 5, 1933 in Washington, OH and has lived in the area hi entire life. He was a 1951 graduate of Wakeman High School. He served in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He was a lifelong truck driver. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen (Middlestetter) Lane, sister Jane Smith, of Columbus; brother John Smith, of Texas, step-sons, Robert Swope, of North Ridgeville, and Richard Swope, of Wellington, step-daughters, Cheryl, Coralee, and Joyce, and numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Flossie Work. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman.
